The Nintendo Switch 2 receives its first must-play exclusive in a fun and frantic 3D platformer where destruction is its own reward.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the gorilla's first 3D platformer since 1999's Donkey Kong 64 and the first to be internally developed by Nintendo since 2005's Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. In our preview, it was confirmed that it is being developed by the same team behind Super Mario Odyssey.

As reported by Vooks, Nintendo and Universal have filed with the US Copyright Office for a project called "Untitled Donkey Kong Project; Motion picture," which as the name suggests seems to be a major motion picture based on Donkey Kong.
