Sean Payton and the Broncos have an option as an offensive “Joker.” That’s tight end Evan Engram, who on Wednesday agreed to a two-year deal with Denver. Engram’s agency, Vayner Sports, confirmed the deal.

Engram will provide an instant upgrade to a Broncos tight end room that has underwhelmed in the Payton era. As DNVR's Andrew Mason pointed out on Twitter/X, the team's TEs combined for 90 catches and 845 yards from 2023-2024. During that same period, Engram totaled 161 catches for 1,328 yards.
