Officials in Texas said on Saturday that dozens of people were killed after catastrophic flash floods swept through Central Texas during a surge of the Guadalupe River. Those officials also say that dozens of children from a nearby summer camp have gone missing after floodwaters swept through.

Volunteers are searching for missing people after flash flooding along the Guadalupe River swept through parts of central Texas. Ryan Logue, a Kerrville native, told CNN’s Isabel Rosales one of the challenges volunteers face is the miles of devastation that will need to be covered.
