In an April interview with Vulture, HBO chief Casey Bloys revealed that new episodes of The Pitt will stream in January 2026. The show began pre-production on its forthcoming episodes in spring 2025, and in mid-June, HBO Max announced via a press release that filming had begun. The release also confirmed the show's return in January.
