The board of regents for the University of North Texas will consider a proposal this week to name a new residence hall after “Mean” Joe Greene.

The University of North Texas is on the verge of naming its new residence hall after “Mean” Joe Greene, one of the legendary figures in the history of the school’s athletic department.

Parents, family members and anxious students-to-be funneled into the Joe Greene Residence Hall Sunday, bringing microwaves, pillows, mirrors and more in tow.
