The US Senate narrowly passed President Donald Trump’s agenda bill Tuesday, after a weekend of negotations and a marathon voting session on amendments.

Trump is still saying Social Security benefits won’t be taxed. The reality is that the tax break under discussion is a temporary bonus senior tax deduction whose size depends on which version of the bill makes it into law. The latest version in the Senate includes a $6,000 per person deduction, compared with the House-passed $4,000 deduction.

Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine and Rand Paul of Kentucky — joined all Democrats in voting against it.

The latest product to bear the president's name is "Trump Fragrances," Trump-branded perfume and cologne that costs $249. The fragrances, called "Victory 45-47" are "all about Winning, Strength, and Success," Trump wrote on social media Monday evening.
