BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A California man was sentenced today in federal court in Bangor for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and money laundering. Alex Hanna, 31, was sentenced to 11 1/2 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release. Hanna pleaded guilty on March 14, 2024.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi sent out letters Tuesday to Maine, California, and Minnesota warning the states to comply with federal law to, in her words, “keep men out of women’s sports.”
