Florida State men's basketball (11-5, 2-3) ended its two-game road trip on a sour note, losing to Clemson, 77-57 on Saturday at the Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson has beaten the Seminoles in six of the last seven meetings. FSU also lost six straight games at Clemson's home court.

Florida State played its first game of 2025 against the Syracuse Orange, with both teams looking to pick up their first win against a power conference opponent this season. The Orange got big news heading into this game, as JJ Starling returned to the floor after missing seven games with a broken hands.

The Clemson Tigers are getting good at beating Florida State. Led by Chase Hunter's game-high 25 points, Clemson won its fifth straight over the Seminoles dating back to 2022 with a dominant 77-57 win in ACC play on Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

After two weeks away from the court, Florida State men's basketball (10-5, 1-2 ) picked up its first win of 2025 and an ACC victory over Syracuse (6-8), 90-74. For the Orange, their first ACC win will have to wait.
