Trump’s strongest area in the poll was immigration, where 51% approved of the job he was doing with respect to that issue and 48% disapproved. That was a big improvement from Trump’s first term, when the poll consistently found the majority of respondents disapproving of his handling of immigration — at times with as many as 61% disapproving.
